On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, the Northfield Minnesota City Council voted unanimously to declare July 27 – August 2 “Vintage Band Festival Week” in the city. Here is what they said:

The Northfield City Council has proclaimed July 30–August 2, 2026, as Vintage Band Festival Week in celebration of the festival’s 20th anniversary!

Since 2006, the Vintage Band Festival has welcomed musicians and visitors from around the world while showcasing Northfield through free performances and community events. Congratulations on 20 years—we look forward to celebrating with you!
