As part of a “Senior Outreach” project associated with the 2023 edition of Vintage Band Festival, there are three bonus concerts taking place in Northfield during the week preceding VBF 2023 on July 29.

The first features Northfield’s own FiftyNorth Band and takes place Monday, July 24 at 4:00 pm at the Northfield Retirement Community Chapel, 900 Cannon Valley Drive West, Northfield. Facial masks are required for those attending the performance.

The second bonus concert is a celebration of baroque and renaissance era music by the Northfield Early Music Ensemble. The performance will be given at the Northfield Public Library atrium on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 4:00 pm.

On Thursday, July 27 at 7:00 pm, RAVE Brass will present a lively show at FiftyNorth, 1651 Jefferson Parkway. RAVE Brass is a subset of the Rosemount (MN) Community Band and has musicians from Rosemount, Apple Valley, and Eagan in its ranks.

All three concerts are free and open to the public.
